Title: Coordinator Service Operations & Recruitment
Reports to: Executive Director
Based at: Don Aitken Centre, East Perth
EFT/Hours: Full-Time (Monday – Friday)
Remuneration: $70,000 – $75,000 plus super and salary packaging
Nudge is a for purpose charity that focuses on getting young, Aboriginal and disadvantaged people into employment and training opportunities in various industries and sectors throughout WA to deliver vital social and community outcomes to break the cycle of disadvantage, unemployment and underemployment. Many of the people we support are working in the Civil Construction, Building, Mining and Local Government areas undertaking traineeships and apprenticeships.

POSITION PURPOSE
The Coordinator Service Operations & Recruitment primary focus and responsibility is the management and
facilitation of the Nudge service delivery model through the coordination and scheduling of project delivery,
internal resource allocation and collaboration to maintain quality and standard of service delivery and
communications.
This role will also have key responsibility for the coordination of trainee recruitment, overseeing and leading
the sourcing of potential candidates and their progression through the Nudge service model process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Shall include, but not be limited to:
SERVICE OPERATIONS
- Coordination and management of Nudge internal operations (Nudge service delivery) – inc. scheduling and timelines for project delivery
- Collaborate with other Nudge staff (and external stakeholders) to maintain high standard Nudge services and delivered within agreed timeframes
- Oversee the management and implementation of internal operational systems (Teamwork Projects, Spaces)
- Oversee resource management and allocation for project delivery
TRAINEE RECRUITMENT
- Coordinate and drive the recruitment of candidates for available opportunities (offered through Nudge) as part of our service delivery model
- Collaborate with Nudge staff, local and regional community groups to source suitable candidates
- Facilitate the process for screening of applicants
- Coordinate the decision making for shortlisting for Work Readiness programme (as part of Nudge
service delivery model)
(Recruitment related experience not necessary – focus is on connecting with people and assessing their
suitability to work and specific roles)
ADMINISTRATION & SERVICE SUPPORT
- Support and research of grant funding and applications related to Nudge services and growth
- Assistance and support to other team members with administration aspects of Nudge service delivery as required (e.g. document creation, client engagement etc)
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED (What are we looking for?)
- Experienced administrator with proven background working in a team and office based environment
(min 5 years) - Highly developed organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience with managing timelines and/or schedules (or project management exp)
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work in an effective, consultative manner with a diverse range of stakeholders, communities and agencies – especially young people
(Recruitment related experience is not necessary – focus is on connecting with people and assessing their suitability to work and specific roles) - Passion for helping people in our community, values that align to Nudge core business and direction
- Ability to connect with people, from a diverse age and culture range – adapt communications and correspondence to reflect the culture and audience.
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement practical solutions, which meet organisational needs.
- Understanding of and demonstrated ability with computer software applications (including project management systems) as well as a willingness to learn new programs
Special Requirements
Occasional travel (including overnight) across WA and some out of hours work will be required.
