A further message from Ashley Little (Nudge – Executive Director)

Dear valued Nudge partner and stakeholder,

I hope that you, your staff and all your families are well, healthy and safe in these ever-changing circumstances.  There are so many aspects of the current situation that need managing, updating and problem solving, but the health and safety of people in our community remains the top priority.

The Nudge team, all over WA, are working hard and remaining connected with trainees and employers we work with – especially providing direct mentoring support and offering a listening ear in uncertain and anxious times.  We are using a number of virtual methods to stay connected with members of the broader Nudge family, and a special thanks to the Nudge mentors for the work they are doing to remain engaged and supportive.

Nudge is continuing to do what we do best, helping and supporting people and employers.  If you need further assistance and support for your workplace or employees during this time please reach out to Nudge – having sufficient independent support during these challenging times is important and we are here to help in any way we can.

The economic impact of COVID-19 continues to ripple through industry and business, and there are a number of Federal and State government initiatives offering a range of support systems – focused on business, trainees and employees.  If you need assistance with how this may assist your workplace and trainees/employees please let us know.

I am pleased to report that amongst all the doom and gloom, there are still plenty of good news stories and Nudge is hoping to shed a light on these in the weeks ahead.  The Nudge Good News series launched last week to share the positive impact trainees are having in their workplaces and the employers providing them with opportunities for growth and development.  We look forward to sharing these with you all in the coming weeks and months.

As always the Nudge office is available should you need assistance, advice or support – please contact 9323 6378 or me directly through details below.

As we navigate our way through these somewhat strange times, I am confident that the compassion we show for one another will continue to shine through stronger than ever.  Compassion is more than a personal or organisational value, it is how we connect and operate as a society, as a country, as humans.  Let us all continue to be compassionate and caring.

Stay safe

Ash
