At Nudge, we give young people looking to kickstart their careers personalised advice, one of the ways we do this is through our Pathways workshops.
Pathways is facilitated by a Nudge trainer and targets both professional and personal development, so the participants are ready to succeed in the workplace. The session includes resume and interview tips and the expectations when entering the workforce providing guidance on roles that align with the candidate their interests, values and skills.
“I really liked the interview tips and am ten times more confident now” Pathways participant.
Pathways is held every second month throughout the year at the Nudge office for Aboriginal young people, aged 16 years and older who are seeking a traineeship/apprenticeship opportunity.
The Pathways Workshop is also a great chance for the Nudge team to provide tips on securing a traineeship and screen potential applicants for our upcoming roles. Nudge has had great success in putting through Pathways participants straight into interviews with many differing companies, with a number of candidates being successful in gaining their dream roles.
“I felt comfortable talking to the Nudge staff and the other attendees and found the information very helpful in getting applying for a job” Pathways participant.
Our next session is being held on Tuesday 12th July and we would love to see you there- to register head to https://nudge.ngo/pathways/
