Earlier this year Nudge were engaged by the Public Transport Authority (PTA) to support two new starters, Victoria Howard, Certificate III Business trainee and Brianna Shadforth, Aboriginal Engagement Officer. The two have proven to be great additions to the PTA team, bringing great enthusiasm and excitement.
Nudge Mentor, Acacia Collard has been supporting the two over their journey so far, Acacia mentioned “Brianna is a joy to mentor. She’s always smiling and always keen to get in and learn new things. I’m very proud of her progress in the past 6 months. Victoria takes everything in her stride, even when things get a little overwhelming. Her positive attitude and great work ethic is going to take her a long way.”
Victoria is a part of the Aboriginal Engagement team, this involves networking with a range of people outside of PTA, which she thoroughly enjoys. Recently Brianna presented in front of the METRONET team as part of the METRONET Gnarla Biddi (Our Pathways) Strategy, talking about her culture and her passion, the METRONET team were very proud of what Brianna had to say.
Victoria and Brianna have felt very welcomed and supported during their time so far, allowing them to settle in comfortable. Congratulations and well done to PTA for the opportunities they are providing to Victoria and Brianna. Nudge is excited to be a part of this awesome journey and look forward to working with PTA in the months and years ahead.
