Laing O’Rourke have been privileged to be involved with the Nudge trainees on the Armadale Access Alliance (AAA) project for the past 2 years. It has been a rewarding journey of personal growth and career development for our 7 trainees. I sincerely hope that the trainees continue in the construction industry and develop to their full potential. Creating pathways allows role models to develop in the industry and leads to more opportunities for the Indigenous community. Nudge have always been willing to go the extra mile to support the Public Transport Authority*, its Trainees and Employees. When PTA and/or its trainees were faced with unforeseen circumstances or challenges, Nudge were always there to assist with identifying solutions and provide support. The City of Swans partnership with Nudge began in 2014. Since then all of our trainees have been sourced utilising their services. The Nudge Mentors always make themselves available when called upon to assist in times of need, providing guidance, coping methods and advice assisting the trainees to build resilence, good work ethic and become valuable assets to their teams and the City.
Nudge suddenly became like a family to me they supported me when I needed it the most. They checked in regularly and continued to give me the advice and feedback and most of all they were proud of me through my progression and development during my traineeship.
I would recommend Nudge as a provider. The communication and support they provide is excellent. They have kept in contact throughout my traineeship. This has helped me a lot throughout this process.
